Whitepapers and Teaching Cases:
You will need to have an Adobe PDF file viewer available. To retrieve a free Adobe Reader:

Excel workbooks:
You will need to have Microsoft Excel 2000 or later. In addition, many of the Clamshell Beach Excel workbooks use "macros"
(VBA computer code) to provide powerful features not available in regular Excel.
When you see the options Disable Macros/Enable Macros/More information, you should click Enable Macros.
If you receive a message that starts Macros are disabled it is because the security level is set too high in your version of Excel. Follow these simple steps to fix the problem:
- Close any Excel files that are open.
- Go to Tools/Macros/Security in Excel's menu structure.
- Set your security level to medium. (This is still quite safe.)
- Reopen the Excel workbook.
- Select enable macros.
Your workbook should now work.
